Step 1:
To start, turn your hot plate on to high enough temperature that will be able to boil water (around 200 degrees). Place a heat safe bowl onto the hot plate, and into the bowl, place a glass container that will serve as your candle holder. Place water into only the bigger bowl, avoiding the smaller glass container.
Step 2:
To the smaller glass container, add a mixture of scented wax cubes and unscented wax cubes. This is to dilute the scented wax as it is quite potent.
Step 3:
Allow the wax to fully melt. You may need to stir the wax, or add in more cubes. Once the wax is fully melted, remove the smaller glass container and set it aside.
Step 4:
While waiting for the wax to cool, grab a popsicle stick and measure out the appropriate length. The popsicle stick will act as the wick. Once you have measured out the length, cut the popsicle stick to this length.
Step 5:
Allow the wax to cool and harden, but not fully. We want the middle of the wax to still be a bit soft so we can push the popsicle stick into it. Once it has hardened a bit, place the popsicle stick in the middle of the candle.
Step 6:
Allow to candle to set for a few hours. Once it is fully hardened and cooled, you are able to use it. Just light and enjoy!
